Galaxy S2 Music

Privacy policy

Prepared October 13, 2026

Information used

Galaxy S2 Music accesses the owner's YouTube music likes, owned playlists, their entries and associated track information, such as titles, artists, albums, durations and artwork. It also requests playback and metadata for authorized uploaded tracks found in those lists. The Google permission used by this integration allows account management, but the bridge implements reading and playback, not editing or deleting account data.

Purpose and data flow

This information supplies the music library, covers and playback on the owner's paired Galaxy S2. The Pixel sends account-authorized requests to Google and YouTube. It may also send track titles and artists to YouTube Music to find matching catalog metadata. Google and YouTube receive the network requests needed to provide their services.

The Pixel transfers the relevant catalog, artwork and audio to the paired S2 over the local connection. No developer-operated music server receives the owner's library or Google authorization. The bridge has no advertising, analytics or sale of account data.

Storage and retention

Google access and refresh tokens stay in the Pixel runtime's private app storage. They are not sent to the S2, included in the published website or packaged into the APK and source backups. Catalog and artwork data are cached on the phones. Temporary upload-playback segments have size and age limits and are cleaned during playback activity; other local music data remains until it is replaced or removed.

Control and removal

The owner can revoke Google access from their Google Account connections. Revocation stops future authorized requests but does not erase already cached data. Removing the music bridge's local data separately removes those caches and its saved authorization. The Google password is entered only in Google's authorization flow, not into the bridge.

This website

These static pages contain no sign-in form, advertising, analytics scripts or embedded media. The hosting provider may process ordinary request information, such as an IP address, to serve the pages. The website does not connect to the phones or expose their library.

This policy describes this personal music bridge. Google's processing is described in Google's Privacy Policy. The developer support contact is provided on the Google authorization screen.
